If you are new at blogging then a question might comes in your mind that,


Leaving comments on other's blog is really worth or its just a myth among the new bloggers, spread by some big bloggers.

Then the answer is,
This is a myth but not completely. Because it completely depends on you and quality of your  comments.

• Commenting anything on other's blog gives you quality backlink 
• Commenting More frequently gives more traffic and backlinks 
• By commenting on other's blog you can get dofollow backlink 
• Every comment has equal authority

If you are thinking that commenting anything will help you to gain some quality backlink then you are wrong.

Because 

For example you comment nice blog then your blog's url. There are very high chances that your comment go to spam section so don't comment like idiots.

Give something if you want something. So yor comment can be like for example l like your blog this gives me inspiration for blogging and but there are some more features you forget to explain,"then explain your point"
This type of comment have more authority. 

Commenting more frequently gives backlink with more  traffic  

If you think that  comment on any blog post more frequently without any reason then you are wrong because,

If you comment more frequently without any reason then owner of that site or blog may find you as spam.

Don't look like spam comment ony when you have to say something about it or want to add something in the conversation or want to give any suggestions to the writer.

This will help you to build relationship which is more important than backlink because they can help you when you want.

Another myth is that, if you comment on other's blog then your blog get dofollow backlink but it's not true because,

To get a dofollow link you have to build relationships with site owner. Commenting helps you to buld relationships but you have to work with your own mind to get a dofollow link.

There is a myth that every comment has equal authority but that's not true because,

When your comment is extraordinary or informative you can get more new readers.

You have to build authority of your comments by your own knowledge and experience.
